The Accounting Manager is responsible for performing accounting related duties that support Highspring’s growth and strategic goals. The Accounting Manager may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas including, monthly close process and the supervision of accounting staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as point communication person for select Highspring entities
- Review monthly producer commission expense calculations, review and distribute monthly financial statements, arrange financial review conference calls, and handle miscellaneous needs and requests
- Manage the monthly close process by overseeing all tasks and executing changes updates and changes
- Ensure timely compliance of deadlines and accurate reporting of financial information
- Complete and review monthly account reconciliations
- Recognize and solve payroll and commission issues
- Supervise accounting staff in journal entry recording and expense allocation, completion of account reconciliations, review of financial statements, and calculation of producer commission expense
