We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Accounting Manager to lead our Shared Services accounting operations team! This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes full ownership of their responsibilities, and is driven by curiosity and process improvement. The ideal candidate is someone who can roll up their sleeves, dig into the details, and lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the monthly close process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and providing suggestions for improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for select enterprise entities, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication between teams.
- Lead financial review conference calls and respond to ad hoc requests with agility and professionalism.
- Perform and oversee monthly account reconciliations, proactively identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve variances and discrepancies with a problem-solving mindset.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and excellence.
- Drive process improvements and implement both best practices and automation across accounting operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
