Michael Caggiano is a Senior Managing Partner with Highspring. In his role, Mike is charged with growing new revenue streams for Highspring across the firm.
With over 20 years of experience, most recently with an S&P 500 global firm, Mike has executed hundreds of searches for both public and private companies around the country. In his last role, Michael was the co-head of U.S. search operations and instrumental in propelling the firm to #1 in the U.S., as ranked by Forbes.
Based on the East Coast of the United States, Mike has developed and trained executive search managing directors in the U.S. and abroad. With experience as a former CEO, president, COO and CFO of various enterprises, as well as a CPA firm partner, Mike brings a client-focused perspective to every search. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mike has held board positions with several charitable organizations, including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Washington, D.C., the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, Women Thrive International, The Giving Back Fund and was the founder of Jewelry for Good, a nonprofit dedicated to creating a new funding source for charities from donations of unwanted gold and silver items. He is an avid outdoorsman and boater, a general aviation pilot, and plays golf and tennis.
Adam Charlson serves as Managing Partner of Highspring. As Co-Leader of the retained executive search division, Adam has been tasked with growing the firm and technology practice. Adam came to the team because of the acquisition of his firm, Charlson Partners.
Prior to the acquisition of Charlson Partners, Adam spent two years building his firm, which successfully served some of the largest publicly traded companies in technology, as well as the most respected private equity and venture capital firms in Silicon Valley. Over a two-year period, Adam took Charlson Partners from an idea to a multi million-dollar firm with offices in Northern and Southern California, as well as Austin and Chicago.
The foundation of Adam’s executive search career has been built on 20 years of experience with firms like Korn Ferry and Spencer Stuart. Over the course of Adam’s career, he has recruited senior leaders for such organizations as Adobe Systems, Cisco Systems, Convergys, DataPipe, FICO, Google, HP, Infor Global Solutions, Microsoft, PayPal, Salesforce.com, SAP, and Splunk, to name a few. Adam is also one of the search industry’s market leaders in “Big Data” and Data Officer/Data Science assignments, having authored the definitive white paper on the topic.
Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Ohio University.
Alesha Herbert serves as Managing Director of Highspring’s Executive Search Healthcare practice. Alesha is a recruiting and management professional boasting a proven track record of success and expertise in building profitable organizations for the past 25 years. She is an accomplished business leader with an entrepreneurial approach to drive significant shareholder value and organizational growth. Fifteen of those years were spent with a national recruiting firm, leading their Houston market as General Manager.
Alesha has a concentration in PE-backed healthcare services, specifically in the consolidation of physician practice management platforms. She has completed numerous C-suite searches in a variety of sectors including Men’s Health, Ophthalmology, Behavioral Health, Dental with recent work in newer sectors including Autism, ENT, Pain Management and Orthopedics.
In 2006, Alesha started her own firm, Sales Savvy, where she specialized in Executive Search of Sales & Marketing Executives. She has developed a wide network of highly qualified candidates that span a broad spectrum of experience. This knowledge and experience led Alesha to Vaco, FSP’s holding company, and launched its operational division in 2014. Vaco acquired FSP and Alesha joined as Partner in 2017.
Alesha received her BA in Communications and Public Relations from Texas A&M University. She lives in Houston with her family.
Andy has led engagements across the country, recruiting executives and leaders cross-functionally for both public and privately held organizations, family-owned businesses, and private equity companies.
Prior to his career in recruiting, Andy spent 15 years in leadership roles in Product Management and Marketing in a global industrial public company, a privately held CPG business headquartered in Germany, and a high-growth small business in the safety industry. This experience gives Andy a unique client-side perspective as well as a strong understanding of candidate skillsets across a variety of business functions, which he brings to every search.
Andy joined the team in 2022 after the acquisition of Brad Martin & Associates, a Minneapolis-based boutique retained search firm founded by his father in which he was a Principal.
Andy graduated cum laude from TCU in Fort Worth, TX with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Andy, his wife, Cassie, and son, Teddy, live in the Minneapolis area. In his free time, he enjoys travel, golf, and good restaurants.
Angela has over 20 years of experience in administrative and project management.
At Highspring, Angela works to improve processes and policies, manage administrative procedures, and leads long term organizational planning. She is responsible for managing the firm’s marketing and communications strategy as well as providing project and business administration support to ensure a successful and positive experience for all clients.
Prior to joining the team, Angela served as the Chief Administrative Officer at Charlson Partners.
She has a background in the search industry working for several top five search firms including Spencer Stuart in the advanced technology practice.
Previously, Angela held various roles in administration at companies such as 24 Hour Fitness and CompUSA.
Based in Houston, Texas, Ann joined the team as part of the July 2017 acquisition of D’Antoni Partners. Ann is an Associate of the firm, responsible for project management, candidate research, and coordination.
Before joining the search industry, she held accounting and administrative positions in the finance, investment, and venture capital sectors. Ann earned her BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Houston.
Barb supports a diverse client basis of largely middle market clients across a variety of disciplines and industries with a focus on Highspring’s Manufacturing and Operations Solutions Practices.
A natural networker and connector, Barb is a leader in leveraging the growing population of experienced A-listers who are at the forefront of the evolving “gig” economy. With a knack for configuring practical solutions in competitive markets, Barb ensures positive outcomes for both her clients and the FSP professionals who support them.
Barb started her career as a multi-store manager for Banana Republic, helping to transform its safari theme to the leading fashion retailer it is today. Transitioning to corporate workforce solutions, Barb has become a recognized leader for configuring innovative talent solutions, most recently as a Senior Managing Director for Korn Ferry, and before that with Patina Solutions which they acquired.
Barb has a B.S. in Organizational Development from Lesley University. In her spare time, she is an avid golfer, an HGTV addict, a Boston sports fan, and a cheerleader for her husband and their Labrador Retriever Field Champions Poncho, Clipper, and Scooter.
Brad Olson brings four decades of retained search experience to the team. Deeply rooted in the Manufacturing, Industrial, and Distribution industries, Brad has successfully completed more than 1,000 retained engagements in his career. From C-suite to functional leaders in Operations, Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Marketing, HR, and Finance, he has also served as a trusted partner to both public and privately held organizations, family-owned businesses, and private equity companies.
Brad joined the team in 2022 after the acquisition of Brad Martin & Associates, a boutique retained search firm in Minneapolis he founded in 1983. Brad recognized an opportunity for his firm, which offered long-term partnerships and provided high-touch and quality service, to join forces with FSP to better serve clients and candidates around the globe. Integrity and ethics are at the core of his guiding principles both personally and professionally.
Brad has been married to his wife Donna for over 40 years. They live in the Twin Cities, have two grown children, and enjoy being grandparents, boating, and vacationing on Sanibel Island
Brayden Southerland is a Senior Associate with Highspring. He joined the team following the 2021 acquisition of the Southerland Group. Based in Dallas, Brayden has spent the last six years managing executive searches for PE-backed healthcare services and not-for-profit hospital clients. Previously, Brayden recruited finance and supply chain professionals in the Dallas area.
In his early career, Brayden worked in supply chain and managed care finance for MedAssets and Tenet Healthcare.
Brayden holds an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Arizona State University.
